ING New York City Marathon 2008, November 2
Join the ING New York City Marathon 2008
I have been joining marathon events for so many years. Having passion for running, I have joined countless international running competition and marathon convention.
One of the most prestigious running events that I am looking forward to is the annual ING New York City Marathon. This occasion also serves a noble purpose, as this is also a fundraising activity by the St. Vincentís hospital to provide quality healthcare for thousands of men, women, and children who are in need.
The ING New York City Marathon 2008 will be held on November 2, and thousands of participants from all walks of life are expected to join.
The St. Vincent’s hospital is requiring its members to raise a minimum of $ 2,500. Last year a total of $ 102,420 was successfully raised by the participants who joined the prestigious marathon event. This had helped the hospital to support the Cystic Fibrosis Center in Manhattan.
The organizers of the event are planning to build a state-of-the-art “green” hospital buildings and health centers from the money that are expected to be raised in this running event.
For those fellow runners who have a heart of a philanthropist, I am appealing to all of you to join the ING New York City Marathon 2008. With all our collective effort to raise funds to support indigent people, we are creating a community where there is equality, as all people, no matter what class they come from, are being served with their basic right of receiving quality healthcare.
